There is no secret formula for this. You'll have to listen to your body and then try various approaches. I decreased my exercise from 1.5 hours a day to half that, while continuing to have one "family meal" day and one "diet" day - back and forth thru the week. This way I still got the food I love in moderation, but also lower fat options. This has worked now for over 3 months.
Whatever happens don't give up on yourself! Find what works.
